Intellectual Property

Ownership and Rights:

  • I hold the copyright to all content on this site except for images licensed to me.
  • You may download, print, and reproduce the content for your private, non-commercial use, provided you give me appropriate credit.

Permission for Other Uses:

  • Any use of the content for purposes beyond private, non-commercial use requires explicit permission. You must not assume permission just because the material is publicly accessible.
  • If you wish to use any material from this site for any other purpose, you must seek prior authorisation. Unauthorised use will result in the enforcement of my intellectual property rights.

Restrictions on Use:

  • You may share hypnosis recordings with family and friends, but they must not be copied, resold, or posted on social media platforms.
  • Altering the content or using it in a derogatory manner is strictly prohibited.

Confidentiality and Privacy

  • I will keep any personal information you provide safe and use it only for the reasons I state. I will not sell or otherwise share your data. My privacy policy provides more information about how I use data.

Bookings

Email Address:

  • Please provide your email address when you book a service or discovery call. I will use this address to send you joining instructions and other important information.
  • I am not responsible for successful delivery once the email is sent from my servers.

Preferred Contact Methods:

  • My preferred contact methods are video calls via Zoom or Care Patron and my business email address.
  • After our first session, you may also contact me via text or WhatsApp to arrange appointments.

Privacy and Security:
Please do not share personal and sensitive information through text messages or WhatsApp. Instead, use secure methods of communication.

Payments and Refunds

  1. Invoice and Payment Terms:
  • Invoices are issued weekly, and payment must be made on the day of your session at the latest.
  • Appointments and invoices are typically sent out over the weekend.
  1. Currency and Refund Policy:
  • Payments must be made in pounds sterling.
  • Refunds are not provided for sessions that have already taken place or for block bookings.
  • Block bookings are available only after you have completed four or more counselling sessions.
  1. Block Booking Packages:
  • If you purchase a package of eight sessions, unless otherwise agreed upon, they must be used within three months of the purchase date.

Online Appointments

Platforms Used:

I use Care Patron and Zoom for online appointments.

Client Responsibility:

  • I am not responsible for any issues related to the software provided by Care Patron or Zoom. This includes connection problems or technical difficulties on your end.
  • I will not offer compensation if you cannot connect using these platforms.

Provider Responsibility:

If I encounter any issues connecting to Care Patron or Zoom, I will offer the following options:

  • A telephone appointment is an alternative.
  • The option to reschedule the appointment.
  • A full refund if neither of the above options is suitable.

Cancellation Policy

Provider-Initiated Cancellations:

  • I reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time without explanation.
  • If I cancel an appointment, I will refund you the total amount you paid.
  • I will notify you as soon as possible if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Upon cancellation, I will offer you the option to reschedule the appointment. If rescheduling is not convenient, you will receive a full refund.

Client-Initiated Cancellations:

  • You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the appointment to receive a full refund.
  • Full payment is required if you cancel within 48 hours of the appointment or fail to show up.
  • This policy also applies if you arrive late for the appointment. I will wait for ten minutes before terminating the video call.

Accuracy of Content

  • I make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information provided on my website, but errors may occur. Any views or opinions expressed are those of the individual author and do not necessarily reflect the views of my practice.
  • My website may contain links to external sites. I am not responsible for the content or any issues on these third-party sites, including viruses or other harmful elements. You are responsible for protecting your systems from such risks and visiting these sites at your discretion.

Limits of Liability

  • I am not liable for any loss or damage from using my website, including harm from viruses, cyber-attacks, emotional distress, or any other perceived loss or injury. Additionally, I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to my website’s inaccessibility.
  • My liability for any harm or damage related to my services is limited to the amount you paid. This includes but is not limited to, travel expenses, time off work, or any other incidental costs.
  • If I cancel a booking, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. I am not responsible for any additional losses or expenses incurred.

Hacking, Intrusions, and Cyber-Attacks

  • You must not attempt to alter or access any content on my site except through the published links. The backend of my site is not accessible to the public. Unauthorised access attempts will result in blocked access and potential legal action. I am not liable for any loss resulting from blocking your access.

Circumstances Beyond My Control

  • Events beyond anyone’s reasonable control, such as power failures, internet service provider issues, industrial action, civil unrest, natural disasters, terrorism, war, governmental action, and pandemics, may prevent us from fulfilling our obligations. In such cases, neither party will be held liable for non-performance.

Severance

  • Suppose any provision of these Terms and Conditions is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable. In that case, that provision will be severed from the Terms and Conditions, and the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Legal Jurisdiction

  • Based in Scotland, I am governed by Scottish law. Any disputes will be resolved under Scottish legal jurisdiction.
