The premise of Pluralistic Counselling is that everyone is unique, therefore therapy looks different for everyone.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy so during our first session we will talk through how best we can work together. I aim to build a trusting relationship with each client, I am empathetic, non-judgemental and an active listener. For me, it feel it is important a client feels comfortable, and there is a good rapport.
I implement techniques from different modalities of therapy including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), RTT and self-help techniques.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
World renowned therapist Marisa Peer is the creator of the multi award winning therapy RTT. I first heard of RTT on Social Media and I instantly knew I had to learn more about this specialised therapy, which ultimately lead to me training with Marisa Peer.
RTT is a hybrid therapy comprising of the specialist techniques of Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). This powerful combination of therapies can provide results like no other therapy out there.
RTT access the subconscious mind during hypnosis, the subconscious mind holds any negative and outdated believes that have been formed as a result of past events. When you discover the source of these outdated and unhelpful beliefs we can remove them and install new positive empowering beliefs that can be life changing.
These powerful results are achieved by creating new neural pathways in the brain. It is necessary you fully engage in the process by listening to a bespoke audio recording for 21 days. This will eliminate the old neural pathways that are keeping you stuck, and will strengthening your new healthy neural pathways.
The RTT Process
We will discuss the issues that are holding you back, and map out the areas that need working on. Exploring triggers and habits, and most importantly what you would like to gain from RTT.
Hypnosis is about being in a state of deep relaxation. Hypnosis will enable you to access your subconscious mind, during regression you will discover the root cause of the issue that is impacting on your life today.
You will recognise the cause of the outdated beliefs that are triggering your problem today, and they will be replaced with new healthy beliefs. This process is achievable by implementing the specialist tools and techniques of RTT.
We will actively work on the healing process by reaffirming the fresh positive beliefs that will change your perspective, and empower you to live your best life, without the issue holding you back.
I had the privilege of benefiting from weekly telephone counselling sessions with Carol last year for a period of five months. I found Carol’s approach to be extremely helpful, better than I ever have with any other counsellors. I had an RTT session with Carol for a phobia that was impacting on my quality of life. I was sceptical as I had the problem for years and it was getting worse. I discovered during hypnosis where my phobia began and this was the turning point. I recognised that I had created the fear myself based on an incident I experienced many years ago. I felt different immediately after the session, I knew that my fear had gone had gone. It’s been four months now since the session and the phobia has completely gone. Carol is an excellent therapist, and I would recommend an RTT session to anyone with a phobia.
I had an RTT session with Carol for stopping smoking. It was an amazing session, but totally different from what I expected. I had an RTT Session with Carol for anxiety. I had never been hypnotised before so I was unsure what to expect. Carol explained the process, and made me feel at ease. RTT has helped me so much in such a short space to time. After the session I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I had some counselling sessions after the RTT which helped as I did feel like I needed to talk over some of the things that came up during the session. There were events from my past the contributed to the anxiety which I really didn’t expect to come up.
