Are you finding it difficult to manage anger or anxiety? Or is a phobia restricting your life?

Hi, I’m Carol! I am a Counsellor (MBACP) and RTT Hypnotherapist at Clear Haven Therapy. I help adults overcome anxiety, phobias, and anger management issues. In addition, I am keenly interested in supporting adults with ADHD.
You may have struggled for many years or find certain situations increasingly challenging to manage. Whichever the case reaching out for therapy is a highly positive step, and at Clear Haven Therapy, we are here to support you.
There are many benefits of seeking therapy, such as improved relationships, increased productivity, and increased self-esteem. If you have neglected your mental health, it may be the right time to prioritise your well-being!
Looking after our mental health is one of the most important things we can do for our overall well-being.
Counselling
Therapy takes place exclusively online, so I can help you no matter where you are in the world.
The premise of Pluralistic Counselling is that everyone is unique. Therefore, anger looks different for everyone, and therapy also looks different for everyone.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy, as we are all different and different things work for different people. An example is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on working with thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours and involves using worksheets and coping strategies. However, if a client wants to explore their past, we will incorporate tools from another therapy modality into our sessions, such as psychodynamic therapy or hypnosis.
I provide clients with a safe space, non-judgemental
Therapy can empower you to overcome the obstacles that have kept you stuck so you can live your life.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
World-renowned therapist Marisa Peer created the multi-award-winning RTT Method. I first heard of RTT on Social Media and instantly knew I had to learn more about this specialised therapy, ultimately leading to training with Marisa Peer.
The RTT method is a hybrid therapy comprising the specialist techniques of Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). This powerful combination of treatments can provide results like no other therapy.
RTT access the subconscious mind during hypnosis; the subconscious mind holds any negative and outdated beliefs formed due to past events. When you discover the source of these obsolete and unhelpful beliefs, you can remove them and install new positive, empowering thoughts that can be life-changing.
A person can achieve this extraordinary transformation by creating new neural pathways in the brain. You’ll need to fully engage in the process by listening to a bespoke audio recording for 21 days. The RTT process will eliminate the old neural pathways that keep you stuck and strengthen your new healthy neural pathways.
The RTT Method
We’ll discuss the issues holding you back and map out the areas that need work. Exploring triggers and habits, and most importantly, what you would like to gain from RTT.
Hypnosis is about being in a state of deep relaxation. Hypnosis will enable you to access your subconscious mind; during regression, you will discover the root cause of the issue impacting your life today.
You will recognise the cause of the outdated beliefs triggering your problem today, and whilst in hypnosis, we will replace them with new healthy ideas.

We will actively work on the healing process by reaffirming the fresh, positive beliefs that will change your perspective, and empower you to live your best life, without the issue holding you back.
Carol is my first therapist and she has really helped me understand, and work with my anxiety. I had an RTT session with Carol for a phobia that was impacting on my quality of life. I was sceptical as I had the problem for years and it was getting worse. I discovered during hypnosis where my phobia began and this was the turning point. I recognised that I had created the fear myself based on an incident I experienced many years ago. I felt different immediately after the session, I knew that my fear had gone had gone. It’s been four months now since the session and the phobia has completely gone. Carol is an excellent therapist, and I would recommend an RTT session to anyone with a phobia.

I had an RTT session with Carol for stopping smoking. It was an amazing session, but totally different from what I expected. It’s been three months now and I haven’t smoked at all and I’m one hundred percent confident that I’ll never smoke again. I’ve been around smokers and it doesn’t bother me. Thank you so much Carol

I had an RTT Session with Carol for anxiety. I had never been hypnotised before so I was unsure what to expect. Carol explained the process, and made me feel at ease. RTT has helped me so much in such a short space to time. After the session I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I had some counselling sessions after the RTT which helped as I did feel like I needed to talk over some of the things that came up during the session. There were events from my past the contributed to the anxiety which I really didn’t expect to come up. I have been listening to the recording every night since the session and I feel like a big shift has taken place from within me.

It’s been 3 weeks of therapy with Carol so far and I have already experienced a profound change in the way I am tackling my current challenges. I have come to useful resolutions that have allowed me to face issues head on. Additionally, Carol has been very welcoming and has allowed me to share and explore some of my own suspicions about myself. Being able to talk about the discomforts/obstacles I’ve faced and steps going forward have been an unknown necessity for me. I’m thankful that I made the decision to work with Carol as I’ve neglected my mental health for quite some time. I’m happy that I am taking these steps to be a better me and I am grateful that Carol is helping me this journey.
